If it happens I hope Iggy get to say his name on stage
I don’t wanna hear “best player available” unless the flames have a top 8 pick you should be after this guy
Or we can tank and trade down the draft to get Iggy while loading up on bonus picks! 🙂
Anyone know which brother, Tij or Joe, is projected to be the better player? It’d be so sick to have both of course but I was wondering if Joe is gonna go even higher in the draft (meaning we probably won’t have an opportunity to draft him). I’ve watched Joe in a couple games for Kelowna and he seems like a pretty special player. Never seen Tij play live.
This is the way
look, as much as it’d be hype to have Iginla’s kid on the team, I don’t want us to go for him just because of the name. If he wants to play here, and we have good use for him, then hell yeah. Otherwise, take the BPA/best player that fits your needs. I really, *really* hope management keeps a clear head with Tij. It’d suck for him too if we drafted him just for legacy purposes when he could have a stronger career elsewhere.
