  1. For Christ sake make your decision and stick to it. This pussyfooting around doesn’t help anybody.

  2. As it should. If they know one of the top QBs won’t be there at 12 then Russ is by far the best option for next season

  3. no, the toothpaste is already out of the tube, it doesn’t go back in…..

    Move on already

  4. I’d wager they’re seeing if he’ll take a more team friendly deal to remain on the team before canning him by the deadline

  5. I’d be really surprised. Seems like each side already burned the other.

Would I take Russ again? Sure, on a contract that fit his performance.

But I think that is a pipe dream.

  6. It’s a shame the Russ experiment didn’t work out for the Broncos. However, he needs to hit road.

  7. First you come to him and ask him to nix his injury protection or face benching, which is clown world stuff. Then you decide, hey we’ll bench you now cause we need a “spark” and then proceed to score less than when he plays, but look “better” in doing it…

Now you’re acting like, on second thought we might keep you, the door is open hommie!

I swear this Organization is run by a bunch of Clowns now, we are the NewNewNew Raiders.

  8. I personally like Russ. I think Sean Payton is more important. If Sean Payton says it can work with Russ then i’m on board. If he says that it cannot work then I am on board with drafting Penix or Bo. Looking forward to the improvement.

  9. I really want to see him out of here. The milk is spoiled. There is no turning back on that. The only way I see it happening is if he takes a MASSIVE pay cut, which he wont, and frankly shouldn’t. Hindsight being 20/20, I wish we had never made the trade at all.

  10. I could totally see Russ fighting for a starting position with two other serviceable quarterbacks on a much lowered generous & renewed contract toward the Denver organization.

  11. I’m just here waiting to see what happens next. The offseason should be interesting if nothing else.

  12. If he comes back and starts next year, I will not watch 1 fucking second of Denver Broncos football.

  13. If RW is willing to adjust his contract so we can build around the QB position in 2024 draft and 2025, I’m happy to keep him while we chase his future replacement via a draft pick.

I think with another year in the same offense and system, he will be imepoved compared to this year (you have to accept that this year was an improvement over last year)

Note that I’m not looking to keep him long term just maybe the next one or two seasons.

Stidham isn’t it. If he’s not willing to adjust his contract then goodbye.

  14. I can see a real QB 1 like a manning Brady stafford, maybe Flacco type come on a team and be a difference maker immediately.

If that team is already functional and has a identity.

Broncos have almost a whole new identity. It will take a year or 2 to mesh.

Russle Wilson isn’t the worse qb and Peyton is a solid coach. We should see a winning team in the next year I’d imagine.

After next year if we don’t look better , we should look at changing things

  15. 30 minutes isn’t much time to talk about what’s going on with them. I’ve have weekly meetings with my boss that last longer talking about projects, workload, and how I’m doing. 30 minutes seems like, “We are done here, sorry it didn’t work out.” talk.

  16. I’m making a fresh batch of popcorn if it turns out we keep him. This sub is going to riot lmao

  17. He played well but the problem is not worth the 50 million per year he’s being paid. More like 30 million

  18. I hope that he comes back and plays his ass off. I’d come to this sub just to watch the meltdown of all of the Reddit GMs and talent scouts here. 😂😂

  19. Ehhh, i’m torn… I was full on in with Penix til I saw that National Championship game… not saying that’s how his pro career will go, but his performance was eerily too similar to what we already dealing with… we won’t get Caleb Williams and I doubt we get Drake May… so what? Who’s the best option? Is McCarthy declaring? Is Bo Nix even good enough? At the end of the day, Russ might just be the best look really… already have to pay him the money, maybe we should just, forgive the term…ride wit him. I dunno.. what do i know..
