[ClutchFans] With the NBA trade deadline four weeks from today, the #Rockets might have to be proactive if they want to create playing time for Cam Whitmore. If you look at the rotation with Tari and Brooks healthy, there are really only about 10-16 minutes available for Tate/Whitmore combined.

  1. Clutchfans has devolved a lot. It used to be a great source for info, it’s not anymore.

Its really not hard to create playing time for Cam. He was always going to take tates minutes when he was ready. You don’t have to move tate for that to happen. You don’t need to weaken the roster to make room for Cams minutes.

  2. I think priority 1 should be trading for a back-up big.

Alp needs rest that wont kill hurt the team, and needs rest to maximize his ability.

Also need to move the expiring contracts for picks.

Cam getting 10 minutes seems fine as I like the idea of him “fighting” Green for the minutes. IMO, thats exactly what players here need as nothing is given, but earned.

I love Cam, but just giving him minutes MIGHT stunt him and not give him time to round out as a player. Similar to how we hurt Green by giving him 20-30 minutes. Keeping your head above water is hard enough, improving at the same time seems almost impossible.

  3. Cut bullock and holiday, get a solid backup center not named cock landale and that should be good enough.
