  1. Sick of watching effortless basketball with incompetent coaching. We need change or just pull the plug on this era and start again. This is where I’m at, that’s how bad that game was to watch.

  2. We reached 20 losses first before winning 40. Scared to say that by this fact, we’re not a contender lol

  3. Yup yall saw Ham laughing on the bench. Dude knows his job is secured by the FO. Embarrassing.

  4. Pardon the novel I’m going to write, but seeing the same shit repeatedly gets annoying.

We had more timeouts available all game despite being the team down 20+. Absolute joke.

Reaves can not run an offense. He’s a secondary playmaker, he can score efficiently, but he doesn’t pressure the rim and break down a defense. He does not pass to AD at all, and often dribbles in, finds nothing, and just has to reset which stagnates our offense. There were 2 plays in the 3rd quarter that were brutal to watch. Nurkic gambled and was in the back court and instead of passing to AD on a rim run with only Beal there, Reaves isod against KD the rest of the possession. Then later, on a fastbreak, he either ignored or somehow didn’t see AD behind the defense, again with only Beal back, and passed it out to DLo to chuck another 3. You can not be a primary ballhandler on this team and miss those opportunities to our best player.

LeBron has to be willing to run our offense most of the time. Bron had 5 assists to AD just in the first quarter last game, showing the potential that we all know is there. Instead, most of the time, we see him just fire up some jumpers every once in a while and only go hard on fast breaks.

And defensively it was way too easy for the Suns to hunt the same mismatches repeatedly to knock down jumpers. Most other games our opponents are exploiting those same perimeter defense weaknesses to force help where we are pathetic at rotating to recover from, once again leading to us getting burned by jumpers.

I could say more about our overall lack of shooting ability and idiotic offensive system, but I can probably just focus on that for next game’s postgame comment because I’m sure we’ll have the exact same issues.

  5. **Post game drinking game**

Take a sip if Ham says:

    – “Fill our cups up”

    – “taking lumps”

    – “dog days of the NBA season”

    – “Next man up”

    – “Try harder”

    – “its a marathon”

    – “we’re not worried”

    – “we’ll get back in the lab”

    – “We just got to get health”

    Chug your drink if:

    – Ham blames a player(s)

    – If a player says something that contradicts Ham during their interview

    Drink everything you have if:

    – Ham takes accountability

  6. Skylar Mays looked impressive tonight.

I think we should experiment with giving him some non-garbage time minutes.

  7. This team is mediocre as absolute fuck. Stop trying to tell me that we have depth. We do not have championship depth. Bron and AD have played nearly every game and we are 19-20. Not to mention that the coaching fucking sucks too. We are shit from the owner to the ball boys.

See y’all in a couple of days.

  8. When I saw Hayes, Reddish, and Vanderbilt on the floor together, I knew we would lose the game.

  9. Switching defense with Reaves and Dlo will never work. Imagine switching those guys onto Jokic. Go back to drop coverage.

  10. We were so low on size this game (without Rui and Wood) and Suns really took charge on those isolations. We just don’t have enough off-set when teams pack the paint against AD.

  11. Booker and Beal individually outscored AD and Lebron combined.

Yeah we’re losing. Embarrassing you would think our guys were injured and taken out early nope AD played as many minutes as Booker and Beal did.

  12. Lakers are on that Warriors trajectory. Steph looks checked out similar to how Lebron and AD played today.

  13. Why does reddish play awful and keep his starting job while dlo and AR get bounced in and out of the starting line up when they dare to not score more than 10 pts?

  14. Unless Bron or AD or both have monster games this team just can’t consistently compete night to night.

Maybe we’d look different with Wood, Rui and Gabe but idk.

At the start of the season I was of the belief this roster could compete, maybe even contend; but to do that we’d need a much more developed game plan and identity game to game.

I’m exhausted from always beating this dead horse but I really really feel like we’d have 4-8 more wins if we had a top tier coach.

I’m not sure what Darvin is; on rare nights he seems to have a great pulse on the game and pushes the right buttons. On many nights he just looks like he’s watching like the rest of us and lets us fall apart without calling timeouts.

Either way it just makes me miss the 2020 team. Gonna go watch some highlights to cleanse my pallet.

  15. [Shams Charania] After a disastrous loss to the Phoenix Suns, the Lakers have relieved Darvin Ham from his coaching duties, sources tell @TheAthleic
