  1. Romano is perhaps the nearest comp to Devin Williams in this year’s arb class. Second-year arb eligible, great track record and excellent 2023 season with great traditional closer numbers (and Williams’ was even slightly better). FWIW, Josh Hader made ~$6.7 million 2nd year arb.

  2. Why can’t we just pay our players? They are battling over couple hundred thousand dollars for the best closer in the game. This is ridiculous
