TURRON DAVENPORT (@TDavenport_NFL): #Titans have completed their HC interview with Bengals OC Brian Callahan.

Side note: It’s nice to see TD back. Hope he’s doing better!

Saw the official notification and thought we hired him💀
Is he actually credited for developing Burrow and their offense? Seems like it would be a random hire
Good job titans! I, too, got some work done today
He’s a good man…and thorough
That’s a start let’s keep the ball rolling!
Well I guess TD didn’t get outright fired by ESPN
On Callahan:
>*One of the Bengals’ biggest issues in the early stages of the 2022 season was that Burrow found himself under consistent pressure and got hit a lot as a result. And that was a product of a few factors: a new offensive line struggling, Burrow inviting pressure himself and the quarterback needing to hold on to the ball longer due to play calling.*
edit. Clarity. The article goes on to point out that this early season issue, was *resolved*. So this isn’t to discount Callahan, it’s to show that he was capable of making in-season adjustments through working with both the HC and QB. Thankyou u/VelvetBlue for pointing this out.
