  1. Please make some changes this weekend. I know this season is a loss but if you fire Jarmo tomorrow at least it gives the organization a shakeup and good feelings of a brighter future. We can’t keep going like this.

  2. 1. Tarasov is not our future #1. He is inconsistent and not reliable.
    2. Our defense sucks ass and I miss Z so much
    3. The passing tonight was atrocious, so many missed passes

  3. If Jarmo wasn’t such an egotistical dickhead we would still have Torts behind the bench. And now he’s about to win another Jack Adams while we’re headed for a 5 year rebuild

  4. There were a lot of sloppy mistakes but with 4 goals and a lot of decent shots at the end, I’m gonna have to put this mostly on Tarasov. I don’t like that the second they for some reason almost unconditionally give Tarasov #1 and say we’re forcing Elvis out he looks atrocious

  5. There’s a lot more to life than sports.

But if this sub has taught me anything, it’s that a lot of people’s personal investment in the game really brings out the worst in them.

This sub, in the Torts years, was a ton of fun to banter and meme. The moment we started struggling though? It’s become a digital wet blanket.

Really bums me out from where things used to be.

  6. Please CBJ, clean house.

I’m already not renewing season tickets because I have run out of optimism with this org.

  7. What is it going to take at front office to stop the pain.

Why are they making us suffer.

  8. Painful loss but I think we did ok.

Organization needs a big reset in the offseason. Jarmo for sure has to go. JD might need to go. There has to be some sort of coaching change. The defense needs to be completely reimagined.

This isn’t a complete lost cause of a team if we just make the right choices in the off-season. Look at the roster, this can easily be an 85-90 point roster with the right coaches, right ideas. And at that point it’s just waiting for a couple more prospects to mature and start seriously contending. It sucks ass now because the current guys botched it, but we CAN be good as soon as next year.

I’m not gonna blame Tarasov. Regardless of who’s better, who’s not, two things are pretty much clear at this point. Jarmo and co. see Tarasov as the starter, even last year, and Elvis is unpopular in the organization. Put two and two together and…

  9. The team seems like they’re all friends and like each other as they gave up early game leads and then entirely collapsed in the third period.

Winning twice in the last 10 games has solidified that we are nearly ready to compete.

Don’t be short sighted, fellas. With our draft capital and the right moves, I think we could move up to 7th in the division next year.

  10. I’m pretty much done with the team for the year. Would love to see Jarmo’s sacking announced before the end of the season, but I just don’t think it’s going to happen. I have no confidence in the teams ownership whatsoever

  11. Well our expansion team buddy is shitting the bed worse than us lately so we’ve got that

  12. All I can say anymore is Im sick to death of loosing. Maybe time to let swiss cheese rest a game and let the basket case loose one again. There needs to be a hall of shame. The d core can have the honor of being the first inducties. Could argue though Jarmo should have that honor

  13. Good night for Provorov. Good for him. I’m really hoping Severson can turn it around. Maybe it’s time for a new d coach. We need this team to be more excited and involved. I’d like to see more intensity.

  14. I was complaining about my favorite teams – blue jackets, reds, bears. Wife says “you need to just………pick different teams.” I thought she was going to say be patient. Gut punch. Go jackets!

  15. What’s happening is a recipe for disaster. If you continue playing Tarasov and continues to struggle that could destroy his confidence. If you play Elvis, lets say Monday, your putting him in against the #1 team in NHL after sitting over two weeks. The FO is setting this team up for disaster.

  16. JLGP

    > what I really liked was that Tarasov took responsibility for the loss and apologized to his teammates

    Jesus Christ

  17. At this point, I kind of hope Elvis does leave. All this drama is just toxic. I am an Elvis fan, so maybe I might be a little biased, but I think he’s getting a raw deal here. I think the best thing for him just might be a fresh start elsewhere.

  18. Pazzy said he really liked the intensity we came out with… and the said, “but you can’t sustain that.” I can’t believe he actually said that. Why the fuck not? It sounded so defeatist and sounded like there’s no expectation of holding people to even the most minimal of standards.

This team needs an overhaul, top to bottom.

  19. So the Kid—Sillinger—lays a great check on their guy, gets jumped and beat down by this thug—Dunn—and we get the extra penalty. Should have been 2 minutes instigator for Dunn, and our power play. Instead, Bjorkie scores the game winner on us in the pp, and down hill from there. Trash call, and no one paid Dunn back, even after the game was out of reach. Pathetic
