I’ve watched a couple Michigan games and haven’t been impressed with McCarthy at all. He gives me Mac Jones vibes. There seems to be people excited about him, anyone care to share why?

Kid had one big game vs Alabama and that’s it. Outside of that? 1td vs 4 ranked teams. Averaged 125yds? Michigan hid a lot of him with their run game. I don’t know why people like him? Because he won the championship? The game they ran anyway and everywhere they wanted? I don’t think people have watched much of him this year, he might be the worst qb in the draft of the ‘big names’
He looked like ass against Iowa, Bama, and Washington.

Career backup. The GM that drafts him will be unemployed in 2 to 3 years.
