I like the Original Six sweaters the best. I even like Boston’s sweater now, which is much better than it has looked in years.
Of the non-O6 sweaters, the best are, IMHO:
Home: Seattle, San Jose, Calgary
Road: Pittsburgh, Edmonton, Buffalo
All six sweaters are home runs, and those teams should not touch them. There are other good ones out there as well like Long Island, New Jersey, Vegas, St. Louis and Arizona, but the other ones are a little bit nicer looking, in my opinion. Still, those teams shouldn’t change their uniforms anytime soon either.
I’m very impressed that Vegas and Seattle each nailed their uniforms right out of the gate. I still don’t love Minnesota’s unis and I don’t think Columbus has ever gotten its uniform right either. It’s just not quite there. Even Nashville’s uniform is just okay looking.
The worst uniforms in the league are Anaheim and Columbus. They both need to be completely overhauled. Anaheim should go back to the Paul Kariya era sweaters and Columbus should start over from scratch. They’ve never gotten it quite right. Good colors, terrible logo, and the number font is just abysmal.
Putting the blues on this list is absolutely absurd

Old home jerseys (would now be away jerseys): 1) Bure-era Canucks skate logo in white version. 2) Selanne-era Jets jerseys in white. 3) Flames pedestal jerseys from the 90s in white.
Old away jerseys ( would now be home jerseys): 1) early/mid-90s black Dallas jerseys with the original star logo. 2) Early 90s Ducks with that beautiful beautiful purple. 3) Nordiques baby blues.

Away: Canucks, Isles, Panthers
Hate the team all you want, but those oilers orange and blue sweaters are gorgeous and timeless.
