Bengals 2023 Rookie Class Crushed it this Season!

I was actually on the fence about Murphy but after looking through the statistics, Cincinnati had an amazing draft! Literally every single player made an impact.

  1. Agreed- every player had an *impact*, some just more negative of an impact than others (cough punter)

  2. Trey Brown (the guy who’s being looked at by the Raiders and Pats) is the big reason why we’ve drafted more athletic players the past two seasons. Without his analytical expertise, Duke would be running around trying to draft snails and statues.

  3. From the article –

    >. . . it is likely that Hubbard will be released in the offseason . . .

Who else, besides this writer, is saying this? Because if its “likely”, I think we would be hearing it from many media members, not just him.

  4. This article is kind of stupid.

I mean, it’s basically an opinion article based on PFF scores. He adds nothing of real substance. PFF is a great tool but it lacks context.

He immediately compares Hubbard’s and Murphy’s pass rush scores, but we all know Hubbard’s strength is his run stopping game. He also played through a lot of the season hurt after a great start to the year. Anybody even remotely familiar with Bengals football also knows 99% of the time players will play through their contract.

He also writes that Awuzie is a safety and that the Bengals released him.?

Journalism is dead. You don’t even have to have a brain to write this shit. Just churn out clickbait as fast as possible.

  5. The biggest scary thing is it took them as long as they did to realize Battle was better than Scott. I was arguing with dummies on here that he should have been the full time Day 1 starter after the preseason he had, and they were saying to trust the coaching staff.

    Nope……
