Twins agree to terms with pair of Top 50 international prospects (numbers 8 and 39 overall)

You obviously never know with these guys. Could be a key contributor 5-6 years down along the line like Jorge Polanco or someone who never advances beyond the minors. Our current number 3 prospect, Emmanuel Rodriguez, was signed in 2019 and he’s probably a year or two away still.
The Twins just brought in a new director of Latin American scouting, curious to know if/how that affected this year at all. I know these deals are frequently agreed upon in principle well in advance of the signing period.
