Kings have so much trouble exiting the zone, and their passing for the last month has been atrocious.. seriously lazy, lax, or dumb. They constantly make passes that don’t connect, or wait too long to make a decision, or force passes through opponents and get picked off. How did the team collectively forget how to do this? This is a completely different squad from 6 weeks ago.

Brutal 2 period again. Wish we remembered how to score more than 2 goals in a game.
It just really feels like this team has lost its identity, and either they aren’t being coached well or are tuning it out. It ain’t working. Let’s be real: elite teams do not go on 8 game skids (without some major injury etc) and make the same mistakes over and over and over again.

Is there a single end all be all stat that can accurately evaluate a hockey players performance over a season? Like for instance Fiala had his fingerprints all over the goal earlier but doesn’t get an assist. So then you look at +/- but even that seems extremely flawed. Is it really just points?
