  1. Mel’s a big reason why the NFL draft is as big is it is. But he also is pretty bad at evaluating prospects and he definitely should not be listened to for anything not related the draft

  2. I mean, I’m sure people in the bears organization are actively trying to get that narrative out there

  3. Chicago gets falcons first and second round picks

Atlanta gets fields and chicagos first round pick

    Seems fair

  4. This is all fucking clickbait right now.

Basically 99% of draft speculation totally changes after the combine.

The trade is actually highly possible but the exchange value is false.

  5. I haven’t been here as long as others, I’ll admit that. But I feel pretty strong about my fandom over the last 15 years. This would be the single dumbest move we ever make if they pushed through with it, and I’d probably enter meltdown mode tbh

  6. I’d like Fields if we can’t trade up for JD, but even a 2nd feels rich for an unproven commodity that only has 1-2 years left on his rookie deal.

  7. That’s insane.

I wouldn’t mind getting Fields, not for the 8th overall pick.

Another ESPN hate piece on Atlanta sports. Why I stopped watching them years ago.

  8. Fields is barely worth a 2nd and 4th as is. Mel Kiper once again showing everyone why he’s a moron.

  9. I don’t hate it, but this trade won’t happen until we find our next coach and he approves it. However if they made it a second rounder, I might jump at it before then.
