Avalanche @ Canadiens1/15 | NHL Highlights 2024

Thr towards the front of the deck comes  back to the point M hands it across for   Devon back for Mard he’ll shoot right on  at the Save and he has a m right on and   comes free for ransen back to the point for  kale marar Mar to McKinnon McKinnon shoots

Block It Away by Allen Jonathan triangles  after it he’ll send it around for Ranson   in Mard to Ranson in EO rans it in back to a  car shooting tipped in Fr as Ross Colton put   it right to the leges of Allen but it went  wide of the net the Canadians [Applause]

C now it’s m that’ll drop it back for Nathan  McKinnon McKinnon up to Center hits the line   play it off for p ran he’ll back hand it around  Jonathan Trang goes after it there’s a reception

For Trang he’ll hand it off to M McKinnon with  it for M shooting tipped byant great and they   score Ross Colton gets the rebound and knocks  it in a power play goal and Colorado is on the   board first is they get those harder rounds  and when they come around the walls they pick

Them up Drew gets it back to ma shovels back over  and then all of a sudden here’s the shot to the   net they missed the deflection earlier in front  of the net this one creates a bit of a problem

McKinnon to Mar and and there’s the deflection  by drwan and it’s it gets into Jake Allen but   he has to make a left leg sa tral there feeds it  over to Savar Saar sends it across for scrubble

Thr towards an stop byor here’s her and it throws  up over the net that wasn’t the case and a lot of   pressure and anxiety took his toll on Jonathan Dru  here’s lovsky tried to get in front for Monahan

Tipped It Wide Suzuki back to mat now gets the  turn pass Coffield with it off for Nick Suzuki   pass across SC SC kovski bangs in hisone rebound  a power play goal and we’re tied at [Applause] one it’s Nick Suzuki will find slap kosi  down low to Coffield nice and patient nice

And patient then as Suzuki starts to walk up  to the top of the circle everyone knows that   Suzuki loves to walk up there and shoot so Mar’s  playing over moves up to the bumper spot and when

They make those adjust adjustments slavski comes  off the goal got it up ahead slowski to mat into   the skates of Suzuki as Coffield will dump it  back for Suzuki and flips it in front comes to

The point for gouie now’s lovsky up with it  has a look got it in front fired on net by   Suzuki and kicked out by gorg Kale Mard trying  to clear doesn’t get it out as Co he upled it

Canon kie plays it back to the Mard trying to  get there Caufield in front Suzuki a backand on   net and then lovsky bats at it on the short side  after the punck Gerard trying to take it away as

Petta Falls and stopped it he’ll hand it off  for petta throws it on net and gorab will make   the save I shouldn’t say turn around but T took  another step for sure well you get Confidence

From your coach to put you there and you have to  know you know you’re Gerard trying to get away   from Jake Evans out the mors dran was bumped by  gie Jake Evans on the puck throws it on men and

Gorv has got it and he’ll hold on Gallagher  comes up with a puck back to the point for   Harris throws it towards an N tipped by Harvey  penard on the way to the goal and gor makes a save ranin slides it over for Gerard  moves to the middle snaap it towards

An end it’s over the goal McKinnon comes up with  it McKinnon hands it up for jar back to the car [Music] scor and just like that kale M makes it  two- one Colorado Gerard is going to swap here

With McKinnon and as they take Suzuki across lap  kovski steps up but Coffield is now switching as   he comes across try to get to McKinnon and he  just can’t get there and he just unloads this

Got Raton coming to the I think you got a couple  of players that are going to be dep screening in   front of Allen although okon tied up by his tral  OK coner back to the line Manson’s got it fann

On it but he gets the Rolling Puck back and put it  off the post I mentioned the pace of the Avalanche   they’re playing at such a high Pace the stop back  and Manson kind of fumbles it when he lays this

To the net Colton the shaft of his stick it  goes right off the shaft below the glove and   then catches the crossbar post crossbar far right  there kale Mar pass across for Dr off his stick

Monahan goes after him Dr holds the puck play it  off for Ranson to the point McKinnon shooting off   the post’s not going to let that here’s a chance  for strle and gor have got a piece of it chop

Down low Jake Evans up with it again hands it  off Harvey perard goes to the m scores what B   hary penard first of the season and it work TI of  [Applause] two and then the Canadians just stay on

The puck and they win some Puck battles and then  eventually Evans with a little flip to Harvey   perard Manson can’t keep his footing and when he  loses his footing that allows Harvey perard to

Get inside and as he tries I think he’s ends up on  the stick of Gerard pressure p so he just turns it   his own end and turn it over it’s Suzuki snaps it  off the cross SP the arm or the stomach and then

Gerard just turns this right over to Suzuki I’m  not sure if he thought he was firsthand knowledge   those ears hurt when they get split here’s a  chance R it in shoots and Allan got a piece of   it bis back for Coffield left it for Nick Suzuki  Suzuki to Coffield and [Applause] T [Applause]

A power play goal well they went four games with  that a power play goal now they got three in their   last two and this is a simple rotation Suzuki  rolls along the top of the circle mat backs off

The top of the middle and then Coffield backs off  the goal line and when he comes off the goal line   remember he’s a right hand shot that stick  is above the goal line doesn’t matter where

His feed is his stick is where it’s looking  at the net he finds the five The Far Side on gorev a car ends up all the way in his own end  he’s quarterbacking the play now gets it up for

Ranin pass across T scores Devon T shot may have  got off strouble which fooled Jake Allen a little   and the Avalanche have tied the game on a goal  from Devon Taves most of the time he he kind of

B is that unit gives it some defensive conscience  and Tas just finds himself a sweet spot at the top   of kind of inside the top of the circle and he  waits for Randon and he fires it through strubel

And I’m not sure Fran tied up with mat he’ll Break  Free got it for McKinnon with a shot big save out   another chance for McKinnon at Jake Allen with a  second save uped in the corner Monahan back to the

Point saard trying to get it towards the net with  Stevens there here’s Monahan on it imp front armia   with a shot blocked by cogliano armana battle for  the puck trying to find it it’s loose he’s goes

Knocks it [Applause] [Music] home if first you do  not succeed try try again armia gets the first one   blocked he stays with it it bounces off a couple  of skates and eventually he searches the puck out

There’s the block by Gerard and there’s the puck  sitting in the skates of COG then armia kicks it   I’m not even sure if he knows he kicked it but he  kicked it forward and then Gerard doesn’t pick it

Up as it comes across the front of gorf and then  he stabs at it with his back hand behind the   skated 4 seconds left and W matter as the aval JS  the p and the Canadians win it 4 to [Music] three

  1. The Avs have to do something about King Georgie. Beautifully inconsistent or not, he’s going to cost the Avs in the playoffs. The streaks of 5+ sub .900 games are atrocious.

  2. A good solid win for the boys to shake loose that losing streak. Shakey Jake mostly on the ball in this game. I still say him and Savard should be suitcased out of Montreal for a scoring top six forward and a draft pick. This way the Sheriff back from Laval.

  3. This is one of those games that I don’t care if we lost. The Avs beat the Leafs, Knights, and Bruins in their previous three. Shrug this one off and bounce back, whatever.

  4. I have to admit Allen was pretty impressive tonight! 👌 Usually hes down on his knees 3 seconds before the puck carrier shoots it. Hes terrible at cutting down angles and is always down on his knees waaaaaayyyy too soon!! If the trade a goalie i sure hope its Allen! I had hope to see the rookie Roy light the lamp but he didnt generate much action tonight! Would love to see him succeed and excell. Im rooting for him big time!!
