I really can’t be mad at this game. Nico Daws and [Simon Nemec](https://twitter.com/BR_OpenIce/status/1746985047859535912) are still young’ins, but they’ll be important parts of this team going forward.

  1. While the game was semi painful to watch at times, Nemec really has grown into his own in just 20ish games. The kid is always playing the right position, winning board battles, and most importantly pissing off Marchand!

    Daws had another great game. I wish we would have some support for him last night but it is what it is. The offensive reinforcements are coming back soon, hopefully we have time (100% healthy not rushed back) for these next few games.

    With the roster we’re putting out we’re doing much better than I expected, so let’s hope we can string together some wins and climb these standings!

  2. Granted small sample size, but yesterday is definitely confirming what I though nemec would be. A great compliment to Luke for years to come.

  4. Defense and goaltending was pretty good (essentially only 2 goals allowed against one of the better teams in the league)

    Scoring though? Yeah……..

  5. I’m reconciled to this season being what it is. If we can sneak into the playoffs, and get players back just in time, then we still have a run. But I’m increasingly thinking with all the injuries, this is just not going to be our season, so keep battle-hardening our kids.

    Just – don’t go spending big $$ and sacrificing our future just for this year. Not worth it.

  6. I saw alot of gliding from Holtz and haula. Team looked disinterested outside of Daws
