Yeah I wanted someone new at OC but it makes me wonder how he would’ve done under a more offense oriented coach. Professional loser Dennis Allen isn’t worth shit and breaks down those around him. There’s no problem firing other coaches and assistants but let’s run it back next season with DA and maybe he’ll figure it out this time 😒
14 weeks too late, he should of been gone after the Bucs game. I think DA has what it takes to be a successful HC for the saint but damnit loyalty to people in a business of what have you done for me now…ya gotta learn how to cut bait quickly

I mean, I would’ve preferred this happening, like, seventeen weeks ago, but I’ll take it!
I’m grateful for Pete for all those explosive years, but man the writing was on the wall for a long time. His plays too long to develop and causing too much pressure on the QBs. He finally started to figure it out at the end of the season, but it was way too late.
Step in the right direction
Look what the draft did for us in 2017 and the Texans in 2023. Pete being gone is a step in the right direction but we still have holes to fill can’t afford to have misses in this draft
I hope DA moves on to a highly touted OC who is hired into an ‘assistant HC’ role with full offensive autonomy. Similar to what Sean Payton had with Gr*gg.
I remember reading the other day that the Saints org came out and said they would be keeping Dennis Allen and it made me sad. But I failed to realize that didn’t necessarily mean Pete would be staying as well. Now I feel a whole lot better.
