[Fischer] The Clippers’ P.J. Tucker remains a strong trade candidate, with the Wizards being as a possible landing spot … Washington would offer the opportunity of a buyout for Tucker. The Suns and Bucks are two teams considered possible homes for Tucker if he were to become a free agent.

  1. absolutely on a buyout.

absolutely not in a trade unless we get another player back or pick

  2. i don’t really want to cut anyone on the roster but i want Tucker as a player coach. he seems washed as a player but i think he could help with our defensive scheme

  3. PJ in Griffins scheme sounds like it wouldnt be a great fit but honestly if he came over on a vet min I think it’d be fine

  4. I would want him back for the vibes. Might make sense if the Bucks make a 2 for 1 trade. If not I am not sure who they would cut to free up a roster slot. He would likely prefer Phoenix.

He probably can’t contribute much if anything on the floor but he can be a de facto player coach and teach Action Jackson the tricks of the trade.

  5. I think it was a mistake letting him go in the first place (idc fight me) but he’s probably too old now

Would rather have his minutes be for the young guys

  6. I don’t know if Tucker will bring us any improvements on the stat sheet. But I can almost gauruntee he brings unmeasurable that will help this team.

“We got dawgs they just didn’t know how to be dawgs”

This team feels like it could use another boost like 21. Not saying trade away valuable assets for it. But on a buyout? Absolutely. Feels like we might end up sending away two guys for one anyway and will have a spot for him.

  7. We need PJ so bad. Most of our bad defense is because no one is out there manning the rotations and reading the opponents offense. They were fine when they still had Jrue doin it but they need him back if they r going for a serious championship run.

  8. We need PJ Tucker even if he’s a bit cooked. He’s still a tough SOB that will give it 100% every time. Our defense seriously lacks toughness and grit. Ajax would learn a ton from him and PJ would be basically a player/coach who I suspect could give a solid 15 mpg.

  9. He’s like 38 now right? I could see it maybe if he was good with more of player coach type role and knows he gets limited minutes. But he seems to want to play meaningful minutes and that’s why he’s wanting a buyout. He doesn’t want to go to a team where he is in the same situation as clippers

  10. Wouldn’t see him playing that much but he could replace some of Bobby’s minutes. Another swingman who can teach the young bucks something

  11. Idk how useful he’ll be on the court and I believe he wants out of LA to be able to play more somewhere else. Having him for a few min here and there but bringing his vet presence and intensity would be great but I think he wants more than that.

  12. as a proud owner of a pj tucker bucks jersey and amongst his biggest fan for years, buy out- sure…. trade no….. yes i would love is attitude and tenacity and locker room presence but i do not think he can give us what we got from him last time. and i do not know enough about how his defensive strengths play into or against the style our coach wants….

  13. r the Bucks over the 2nd Tax Apron? i believe if they are, they are NOT allowed to sign anyone thats bought out.
