I quit my first job the day after. Nvr forget
There is a legendary family story here.
My whole family was watching the game. I was 15 and I was the biggest Falcons fan. The rest of my family had moved to Atlanta from Cleveland in 87′ so they were all Browns fans first. I was born in 84 so my allegiance was to the Falcons always.
The family was all sayin “nah it’s over, no way Atlanta can win” The kick happens… Falcons win!! I run in front of the TV and in front of everyone just did the WWF ‘Degeneration-X’ “SUCK IT”. My dad just immediately shouts “GO TO YOUR ROOM” I went to my room but I turned on 96Rock and listened to the celebration in my room. I did not care.
Every year around playoff time my brother mentions that story. I live in Seattle now apart from my family so this was a fun memory to share.
This was the first time I cried over a sporting event.
Great childhood memory…despite the fact I was crying when we were down in the 4th
