No Canucks team has ever reached 30 wins faster than the 2023-24 team

Wow, some of those were presidents trophy years, I think?
It’s crazy when I think about how *elite* those 2010-2012 teams were, that somehow we’re pacing ahead of them this year. It still hasn’t computed for me.
Also the 2014-2015 team being anywhere on this list is crazy to me too.

Converting to the same system, this Canuck team is arguably the best through 45 games.
28-11-6 (through 45) 62
28-12-5 (through 45) 61 (1992-1993)
25-10-10 (through 45) 60 (2010-2011)
I just tripped out looking at our record since adding Zadorov … We got points in 17 of those 20 games. Only 3 regulation losses.

This season coming after last year is such a welcome surprise

r/Canucks: “I’m not so sure about this team, I wouldn’t trade for a rental to make a playoff run yet, maybe in few years.”
This team had something to prove this year. When we had juggernaut team’s in the past they knew they were good so the occasional dropped game here and there didn’t bother anyone. But this year was a make or break year for this core, if we missed the playoffs there was a good chance we blew it all up and rebuilt around Hughes. I think that’s half the reason the kid is playing out of his mind right now. He knows it’s playoffs or bust in the worst possible way this year.
No Canucks team has won a Stanley cup either. 🤞
Does anyone know our record last year 45 games in? Would be amazing for my mental health to see the comparison lol
