  1. Says a lot about how well the organization is being run if Flacco is still complementing them and wanting to come back despite knowing he’ll be the back-up

  2. I definitely think we should bring back Flacco or even Jacoby to backup Watson.

Watson seems to be fragile thus far.

Definitely need a veteran as QB2 in my own opinion.

  3. It would be awesome to have him as a backup. Not only for insurance if Watson gets hurt again, but his leadership.

Having said that, I’m not sure I could handle this shit storm of idiot Browns fans after Watson’s first incomplete pass of week 1 or first time we lose a game. The same people screaming for DTR at the start of last season.

  4. Even if he left, I still want to get a Flacco jersey. Those things are way to fucking expensive these days those.

  5. As great as it would be to have him as a backup, the offense is being retooled for DW specifically, who has a completely different skillset and playstyle (leave your jokes at the door). DTR makes much more sense at qb2, as he shares DW’s mobility. I would definitely love to have Flacco around the team and in the qb room for the offseason/OTA’s/TC, just for his professionalism and experience.

  6. If this season proved anything across the league, having a valuable backup QB is actually quite important. I actually expect Flacco to have some demand this offseason.

  7. The problem with bringing him back is the offense will be tailored to Watson’s strengths. The system Flacco played in was perfect for his skill set. Now I would love to bring him back as a QB coach of some sort.

  8. Fuck it. Trade Watson to Atl for a bag of balls. Have Haslam do a presser where he falls on the sword “we fucked up … Watson is a huge PoS…the fans have spoken and we listened and shipped his rapey ass out of town… now we’re gonna Flacc around and find out what happens from here.”

    /s.

Though I cannot wait till the day that this franchise is done with this carpet bagging, pos Watson.

  9. Only way that happens is if he’s willing to take vet minimum to be the backup, and even that’s probably too much money for Berry. Cleveland fans need to stop fooling themselves into thinking the last 2 months was anything but a brief glimpse of magic.

  10. I’d love to have him back. The fan base has really come together around Flacco and should he be needed to play again, we can be confident in his abilities.

  11. Dream Scenario for us would be to mimic the Saints idea.

    Deshaun Watson = Derek Carr

    DTR = Taysom Hill

Joe Flacco = Jameis Winston (but way better)

Rotate them all as needed but rely on mostly Deshaun. They don’t exactly have the same play style 1:1 but the idea is the same

  12. Love what he did for us this year. But come next season him being another year older, I don’t think we see the same Flacco unfortunately.
