  1. For those unfamiliar, a quickly accurate throw on a screen pass can lead to touchdowns

  2. Man I’ve noticed a LOT of screens. The difference is that the ball gets out of his hands lightning quick.

  3. He’s so quick on reads. Even that play that was a bad snap. Scoops it up and passes it. I’m going to be worry about us not drafting him until I see it on draft day.

  4. Don’t forget fields stans will tell you he’s a shorter Justin fields and has the same flaws 😂😂 dudes processor is 10x faster and his release is so much faster.

  5. So I decided I will do some counting while I watch this (also I might have mis counted 1 or 2 because I had someone talk to me)

Pocket Passing TD (throw made between the tackles)
    48 pocket touchdowns.

    Designed Roll out passingg TD
    16 touchdowns.

    Scrambles Passing TD
    10 touchdowns

    Designed Rushing TD
    14 touchdowns

    Scramble Rushing TD
    7 touchdowns

What was impressive is the pocket quick decisions touchdowns in the red zone.

  6. Watching shit like this makes me wonder why people can’t just put Justin out of their minds either way negative or positive and just wish him the best on his next team. We got a stud coming, let’s just celebrate this absolute gift that the panthers gave us.

  7. I hate to cut yall off when you’re so close to finishing, but highlight videos are a terrible way to evaluate talent. Also, very weird reductive history Caleb throaters are using to disparage fields.

  8. Poles is a complete moron if the Bears don’t draft this guy. Minus any red flags of course

  9. Yeah a lot of these TDs are probably the result of terrible defenses that can’t tackle. But watching this, it’s so obvious his throwing talent is off the charts

  10. One of my favorite features of Caleb’s scouting report that we don’t talk about much here is:

“Routinely compensated for a mediocre offensive line and receiving corps by identifying incoming blitzes, hot reads, and extending plays when needed.”

This is so crucial to success in the NFL and is something Fields has not improved at

  11. I just went from six to midnight.

I hate highlight videos because they are always filled with wide open bombs that half the people in this subreddit could make. This TD cut is so much better because it shows all over the field.

Some things I noticed from the video:
    * Dude has a freaking cannon of an arm. Just absolute 30 yards DARTS
    * Obviously this is still a highlight reel so to speak, but he just makes the right reads… A corner blitz he goes directly to that side of the field, etc
    * He can actually throw touch passes. Like 15 yards over the LBs but under the safety. I forgot what that was like to see
    * He can throw a slant. For new Bears fans, that’s what everyone in the world uses for short yardage passes except Getsy
    * He hit so many receivers mid stride. One of my biggest critiques of Fields is he almost never hits a receiver where they don’t have to speed up or slow down. Seeing so many in this video has be giddy
    * He gets a little side arm, gun slinger with the ball… Not necessarily a problem, just an observation
    * Good God, he needs to hold the ball with 2 hands when he scrambles. I’m getting Mike Vick 1 handed fumble flashbacks hard watching this

I think if we only had pick 9, we’d roll with Fields and draft BPA… but having pick 1, I don’t see how any franchise doesn’t swing for the fences with this kid
