Not a Fan of Grant anymore after the Kinlaw debacle. Sucks anyone loses work but the guy is a troll basically and last I heard can’t admit he’s wrong.

A bunch of the NFL team SI reporters have said on twitter that they aren’t being laid off, including Cohn.

Let’s not go celebrating anyone’s layoff. Whether you like Grant or not (and I did not particularly care for his work) this situation is terrible. As someone who worked in an industry rife with layoffs, these situations are sad to witness. Best of luck to all the writers at SI.

Downvote time, but journalism is already shit thanks to consolidation. In a larger sense this along with Pitchfork being subsumed into GQ are signs of corporations shutting down lanes on an ever dwindling information highway.

As someone in the media industry, i feel bad for him on a personal level. Just because i hate his work, doesn’t mean i should yuck someone else’s yum. Hope he lands on his feet where i can ignore his work there.
I don’t wish unemployment on anyone. I just hope he lands a new job covering another team.
