Nothing says contender like having a rotation with Mitch Keller and a bunch of #4s and #5s
Those are the SP you need to make the playoffs, right?
This is one of those things that is said to arouse the “we’re only a few years away from being competitive!!!” clowns that come out of the shadows every season that the team, once again and to nobody’s surprise, completely plops out a shit of a season.
firework and bobble head night must not be cutting it anymore.
Kudos to Jason for getting a Nutting interview, I guess. I know it’s not easy to get that frumpy fucker to talk. But this story is exactly the same as a story Dejan wrote when *he* was at the PG, except it’s only 45% as well done.
This is the sort of thing that prefaces a major trade/signing. I’m serious – I expect something to go down early this coming week.
Is he going to sell off portions of his ownership to others throughout the season? That’s the only way he can aim for “contention throughout the season”
You can just tell from the way he says “the current playoff system” that he views the extra Wild Card teams as an excuse to field an even worse roster/payroll and still claim it’s a “playoff contender”
