I think the thing I will miss most about Pete is rooting for a team whose head coach is kind.
Players love/loved playing here and loved playing for Pete. As much as I want the next coach to carry that on, it makes me wonder if there’s a connection between being the place players enjoy and our teams lack of discipline.
Wonder why he’s not getting interviews?
I think Pete is a great coach and the Hawks performed better than expected with our talent. We just lack talent/depth in a lot of areas which I think rests mostly on Pete. Now we’ll see if John can get the talent in place with the right coaches to get some wins.
