  1. I only see a possible deal with the Knicks and maybe the Mavs. I don’t see what the Lakers could give? Would we even want rui?

  2. Please stop posting this guy. He literally just took what was already out there and put “per ClutchPoints”

  3. Ironically I’m both a Raptors and a Lakers fan I don’t think the Lakers have anything the Raptors want and I can speak from the Lakers side I don’t think Bruce Brown fixes all the Lakers plaguing issues. So a deal with the Lakers doesn’t make much sense to me from both sides perspective.

  4. Leaving aside the dubious reporting, obviously it makes sense these two teams would be interested. Among many others.
With the Knicks, I think we all know ow what our desired return would be. Grimes, Fournier and a pick would be awesome. If we don’t get that, there’s still decent deals to be made with them.
On the other end of the spectrum, pretty tough to see what we might consider good coming from LA. Even their best offer means biting some kind of a bullet. Not a huge fan of their assets. Those deep future picks are fine I guess but there comes a point when you don’t have the assets to bundle with picks to make good moves. And waiting till 29 is silly.
So yeah, whatever. Between the two, would prefer NYK but in all likelihood it will be another team. If there’s one thing we can take away in common from the (very different) OG and Pascal trades, it’s that the return won’t likely look like we wishcast, but it will probably be pretty good.

  5. The only thing I’m really taking from this is another reporter saying the Knicks are very interested.

Fournier+Grimes+2025 first seems feasible if they truly are that interested and there’s enough competition.
