  1. Huh. Might be tempted to do this with the Royals next season and see if I can net a cheeky 1000$

  2. This is good data showing why I don’t bet on sports often. Over half the league is a net negative. It’s almost as if things are stacked to favor the house.

  3. Does this take into account the teams covering the spread or is this just straight win?

  4. Jokes on me, I bet the Orioles but I bet $100 they’d win every game. One bet, $100, 162-0.

  5. Started betting heavily on the Orioles in early May and have no regrets.

Paid for my trip to Vegas and then some.

  6. you’re telling me I could bet on the freaking Braves or Dodgers every time and actually make a profit? wtf?

  7. How can I adjust this to make millions? Only bet on a +.600 team when they’re playing a sub-.400 team? Please, the Albanians are going to take my thumbs

  8. This is really interesting.

Can you test creating winning scenarios for yourself, such as testing to see if the teams in 1st or 2nd are a good candidate for this strategy for the rest of the season?

    So you:
start the betting after the first 25 games

compare with full season vs 25 in ROI

Back check this vs any previous years

  9. Huh… neat

It’s interesting the Rangers despite winning it all still results in a loss

  10. Only way I’d bet this much on every baseball game is if the money meant so little to me I didn’t care to lose it. And then it wouldn’t be any fun. The median profit is so paltry for $16k invested.

  11. It would take a deep breath and a stiff drink to put $100 on the Nats every game. But congrats to those who did.
