  1. I’m not sure if this is a new or old SportTrac update but I found this interesting and have not yet heard this low of a project offer. Wonder how many shares of Spotrac Jed owns? 🙂

    > [Spotrac projected Bellinger’s market value](https://www.spotrac.com/mlb/chicago-cubs/cody-bellinger-21735/market-value/) at a five-year, $112.5 million deal, with an average annual salary of $22.5 million. With not many teams bidding on Bellinger’s services, it wouldn’t be a shock to see the Cubbies bring back Bellinger at a discount.

  2. No offense to OP but looking forward to actual news so we don’t have to keep relying on something that “John” said to “Bill”.

  3. If this report is true and that figure, length and lack of general teams interest is right, would this be one of the first instances of a big FA’s underlying stats zapping his market despite great traditional stats?

  4. Just because the projected salary is down doesn’t mean Boras has accepted it. Boras is still waiting on the Angels to panic and offer $200M.

  5. So many of these articles are just reframing the same information that’s already out there. And everyone keeps reading them and giving them views because we want something, anything, to happen. Perfect storm for ad revenue.
