wasn’t it reported last week he wants a nuts contract? given how volatile relief pitching is…idk, i’d rather just take a minor league invite or one year flier on a guy who’s had success but doesn’t want a nuts contract

He’s so hittable. Eh maybe more so back in his Philly days, having just looked up the stats. He’s been getting better over the last four years I’ll hand him that. Career BAA of .213 is not shabby. Whip has been highly variable and suspect on the other hand.
It all comes down to performance, and I guess I’m convincing myself to abandon a memory’s eyeball test for the numbers too. Maybe if I was watching more closely these Houston years he’d be even more impressive.
I’m not against signing him for the right price
He’s an upgrade over Ottavino that’s for sure. I say go for it.
