You can tell he’s a gentle soul. The whole cat rescue thing says it all. He doesn’t deserve the hate and threats. I have been hard on him as a kicker and don’t know that we should continue with him, but this is not okay. It’s just Football. Heres the kicker(no pun intended), we still most likely lose if he makes the FG. We could not stop KC at all. They would have marched down the field, killed the clock, and scored. Let’s be real here.
Anyway, no matter how you slice it, he should not be getting hate and threats. That is scary behavior.

There was a whole 58 minutes of football, and countless missteps/weird choices that occurred before that kick. Chalking up that loss to a single missed FG is ridiculous… and anyone who says otherwise is suffering from recency bias.
Losses arent fun, but only one team gets to win every year… the fuck you gonna do about it? Nothin. Go to bed, get up, go to work, and the world keeps turning. Its all meaningless, in 100 years literally nobody is gonna remember how Ron from Cheektowaga felt about a loss, a missed FG, a dropped pass, a Superbowl win, nadda…
So if this sport is impacting your life enough to the point where you are actually making threats… you need serious help.
I highly doubt the ones who threaten Bass are members of Bills mafia, not for a second after a missed FG I personally thought anything bad about Tyler. The ones who threaten TB are probably those hundreds of gamblers who lost their money betting on the favorites. Misses like this happen, that’s why we play the game and not just picking a winner based on a betting spread.

i feel sick that there are people out there willing to threaten bass’s life over a game. it’s so sick and cruel, i can’t actually imagine what goes through someone’s mind when they choose to do something so depraved.
at 6/6 we weren’t even sure we’d get to the playoffs. why not appreciate the team for everything they tried to do? fuck the haters.
Anyone who threatens an athlete because of poor performance really needs to go outside a bit more. It’s just a game, go to bed rather than committing felonies online. I also hope they have upset tummies forever.
