Is this random twitter user credible?
Was hoping for a Ryu return but I’ll take it🤷♂️

The Dodgers tried to trade for him at the deadline, so I had a feeling he might get that last roster spot if they pursued a starter.
Terrific offseason.
All your pitchers are belong to us
Let’s go Big Maple!
Might be a dumb question, but does this have any effect on Kershaw coming back?
ehh … not a bad deal at all. adds a lefty to the rotation and there is no such thing as a bad 1-year deal. plus … he’s a boras client. maybe this helps our relationship with boras if we wanna sign any of his future clients (i.e., corbin burnes) ?
If they land Paxton then who’s the odd man out? Ryan Yarbrough?
6 man rotation looking good.
Also I get the feeling Kershaw will get the Roger Clemens treatment/contract to start pitching second half of season
Was always a big fan of his when he was doing well. Another reclamation project for Mr.Prior. Good luck James!
Buehler, Glasnow, Yamamoto, Miller, Paxton is pretty good. Just need to sign Kershaw please.
Where is Kersh 🥺
I like it. Good move.
Really like this move. As for Kersh, he’s definitely gonna be our mid season guaranteed signing. No pressure for him to rush back and be as fresh as possible for the back half of the season
Injury prone trash
I think some of y’all have to realize that even if kersh wants to play again, he’s not gonna be able til more than halfway through the season. And in the meantime we need as many arms as possible for our injury prone rotation bc we can’t assume that a worn down Kershaw can bolster it
Rich Hill (to an extent tho yes he was already great with Oakland and Boston just before), Brett Anderson, Andrew Heaney, Tyler Anderson. Any other recent lefty reclamation I’m missing lol
I feel good about this
r/baseball in full, rage-inducing meltdown right now.

No way Ryan Brasier comes back anymore after this signing. They’re probably slightly above the Mets in luxury tax now.
Fully believe this means Kershaw to the Rangers. 3 team trade coming sending Barnes to Texas…
I remember the dodgers struggling to hit him in the 2019 Yankees series lol
Exactly what we needed. A 4th or 5th lefty starter
You can never have enough pitching, thats what recent seasons have taught me
Makes sense. They tried to get him before and at this point, it’s just about stockpiling arms if they’re not going the traditional “innings-eater” route. High risk, high reward pitcher. Friedman’s favorite type.
Also, we get an American hero on our roster. I’m sure BlaQ will be thrilled

Hell yeah, love this signing. Low risk, medium-high reward that doesn’t preclude us from spending money and/or prospect capital on another SP or an elite RP like Clase
