[Andrews] The Warriors watched the tribute video for Dejan Milojevic coming out of Belgrade as a team this morning. They then took an hour to regroup and settle their emotions before beginning practice. Steve Kerr called the emotions of the last five days “heartbreaking and devastating”.

1. I wonder if this will somehow light a spark under the team in a “let’s win one for Dejan” kind of way or if the trauma of the situation will cause them to continue downward as they have been. Hope it’s the former and not the latter but I think it would be understandable either way.

2. i imagine the violent nature of a heart attack really struck a chord with most people there and it’s something a lot are dealing with for the first time in their lives–

   Do not go gentle into that good night,
   Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
   Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

3. My coworker had a heart attack in the office a few daysago. One of my favorite people to work with the past few years. He gives everything to his job and the people around him, and hes very senior on the team. He survived. But I can only imagine…had he not…and I witnessed it. It’d affect me the rest of my life. And I think this team basketball is on an ever deeper level.

4. I can unfortunately relate to this situation. It’s so much bigger than basketball. When something so devastating happens you play every detail in your mind, wondering if anything could have gone different. There could have been someone that suggested the restaurant, or worse, suggested the meal. It sucks the players can’t take more time off honestly.

5. I was actually staying at the same hotel the Warriors were the night it happened. Saw Klay, Corey Joseph, Coach Kerr and TJD the next morning in the lobby and they just looked shell shocked. It was awful. Said my condolences to them.
