  1. Cuylle’s TOI will hopefully go back up when Chytil returns, which sounds like it’ll be sooner rather than later. Only question in my mind is who should be the RW on that line with them. Wheels probably has the first crack at it, but I might prefer to see Vesey there. Or Pitlick.

Anyway, overall I agree with Brooksie on this one. Cools has been great for us and he deserves more ice time.

    >He plays in straight lines. He arrives at the puck in ill humor. In the coach’s handbook next to the section about simplifying the game, there is a picture of No. 50. The freshman’s game has not wavered from Day 1. He represents items from Columns A, B and C that the club requires.

  2. Not for nothing but brooks writes the same article every year about how the rangers need to get tougher, add more size and go north south going into the playoffs. That being said I enjoy what cuylle has been bringing to the team.

  3. He’s a guy who can bang but also doesn’t need to take a Claritin because he’s allergic to scoring goals.

  4. He reminds me of a shoot first version of Dubinsky. Ironically drafted in the same selection spot

  5. He reminds me of when Kreider first came into the league. He used his speed and size and hit everything. Then there was a stretch of games several years into his career where Kreider got like four or five boarding penalties and he kind of shifted away from looking to make big hits.
