Could just be end of season. But not a lot of linebackers get to retire at 34 with run of health he’s had. If this is the end, it’s been a fucking ride.
Sitting 7th all time in tackles only needs 73 tackles for top 5 all time, then he is a HOF lock!

Also he has an old jameis video included in that post of him saying “It begins… today.” Looks kind of like a goodbye to me :/
I would hate to see him go – but he needs to do what is best for him and his family. If it is over – I have loved every minute of it! #Legend

I assumed he’d be retiring this offseason but have tried to block it out of my mind. If this is the end then what a hell of a ride it’s been. One of the best Bucs ever and one of the most criminally underrated players ever.
For us GenZ Bucs fans, 54 was our Derrick Brooks. Him and Gerald McCoy were our superheroes on defense and Mike on offense. Truly one of the best linebackers of the 21st century, up there with Urlacher, Lewis, Thomas, Willis, Kuechly and Wagner. He’s my favorite Buccaneer of all time. A king of a man and player.
