  1. Surprised he doesn’t have the Celtics jersey he’s been spotted wearing at shows hanging somewhere. Dude is one of the biggest fake fans ever. Hasn’t been with us when we are shit and only shows up to talk about us when we are good.

  2. Didn’t this dude bandwagon the clips? The only die hard laker fan for me will always be flea.

  3. Snoop is allowed to like multiple teams, including the Celts and Clips. He’s even allowed to hate the Lakers or not follow basketball.

    It’s a free country.

What obligation does he have to be the kind of fan you might be? And what good would that bring to society?

If anything, being a superfan can be problematic, as a perceived sense of enduring loyalty to a certain team can lead one to harm/mistreat others (think UK “football hooliganism”).

As my parents used to say, “These people are millionaires who don’t care about you or even know you exist. They’re not paying your bills– you’re paying theirs.”

All that being said, if you claim to be a die-hard Lakers fan, don’t rock a Celtics jersey. Just donate your courtside seats to inner city youth who love their team with a passion, but can’t afford to attend the games.

  4. Every time there’s a Snoop thread on r/Lakers everyone wants to act like Snoop isn’t a real fan. Snoop bought Kobe a ‘64 Chevelle with Lakers branding, has Lakers and Kobe tattoos, the list goes on. He’s also a West Coast/LA legend so not sure why any of you would diss him if you love LA.
