  1. Yesss keep the core 4 mentioned, everybody else can begone. Take Killian while you’re at it

  2. Lavine is viewed as a negative asset relative to his contract. He’s a ball stopper, a poor defender and has already lost a step.

If he joined a good team with a well established hierarchy and played into a smaller role, I think he could be helpful. In Detroit, Monty will let him jack up shots at high volume.

  3. Idk if I really want lavine but if we trade for him at least we aren’t planning on including the four guys I would want to keep

  4. The only players i wouldn’t mind getting traded are

    -Alec Burks
    -James Wiseman
    -Joe Harris

I’d be upset if we traded anybody else imo.

  5. No please don’t trade for Lavine’s big contract we need that cap space for all the free agents we’re going to sign this summer or something

  6. I’d rather overpay someone from the free agent class. Throw 95 mill at OG for 3 years or something.

  7. it’s not like they’re going to be able to spend the cap space this summer in a better way. LaVine scores. a lot. as long as it’s a poopoo platter of expiring contracts I have zero issues with this.

  8. those 4 should absolutely be untouchable. we have a thunder-ish team on our hands here. cry about it

  9. Why trade a wing for another guard? Sure we can open up Ausar minutes but at the expense of Ivey minutes

  10. Lavine is the type of player desperate franchises trade for. The tldr is his talent is no where near his contract. In the right system and with the right contract he could be successful, but we are not the right system and he is not getting the right contract.

  11. Bogey and like stew plus filler for him just puts us in the same place (maybe a touch better) than we are now. And bogey has value, why trade him for a negative asset. This is why you don’t let lame duck gms trade. He might improve us by a few wins this year but doesn’t help us going forward

  12. If we can involve a third team in this I’d actually be excited. Which? Idk. But dropping one of the Core 4 for his contract is … ehhh. Beef Stew leaving would sting a little cause his Bad Boy fire is appreciated and needed as team enforcer and his 3ball HAS developed. His strength next to Duren’s should always be noted. Idk. You can stand Bojan or Burks cause it was always assumed they’d be out sooner than later. This is tough. I kinda like Zach but I’m not sure how much 😆

I think our Top 5 draft pick over the summer and one of Burks/Bojan is going to be the most value we have in a trade this year w/o disrupting or giving up on our young investments. I’m all in on Monte Morris for keeps as a vet with Cade and Ivey.

  13. This trade will go down. It;s been talked about and has traction, so yall should expect to see Lavine in a Detroit jersey in the coming 2 weeks

  14. A Core young plalyer not including Cade, Stew, Ivey, or Duren must mean Stew?

Ive been vocal about Stew not fitting and him being the one to go but hes also been playing well lately and our best/only interior defender, and he just had a career game against the Bucks.

Our problem is we have no two way players, eveyone who is good on offense is terrible on defense & vice versa. Idk how Lavine fixes that.

Plus I know Lavine is younger but are sure hes an acutal upgrade from Bogi? Bogi definitely shoots better. Idk if giving up Stew and Bogi for Lavine is fair value for us.

  15. Isn’t Bojan better than Lavine at this point? On a better contract too. Seems a dumb move to make.

  16. Please God, no. Please no. Don’t do this to us Weaver. Gonna put us in salary cap hell to maybe be a play-in team next year?

The Bulls have more talent than the Pistons and their record is a whopping 21-24.
