Total overreaction. Prunty is not terrible or anything, but he was an interim coach for our team back in the day and was only marginally better with on court results than Kidd.
I believe doc might be just fine not perfect but fine…and with our talent that’s all we need for a championship run

that’s the right take. one year of Prunty, if he doesn’t win it all we get a new HC in the offseason. that’s way better than 3-4 years of Doc
first billion dollar coaching contract
Experienced coaches are not easy to find in availability. Definitely harder than finding the right player at trade deadline. He was available, maybe the team talent will overcome his shortcomings and he will be a good fit. Hopefully.
I dunno… Jason Kidd had Prunty… Adrian Griffin had Prunty… I’m not saying, I’m just saying.
Always liked Prunty. Wish we had Stotts though.
