Hopefully just to stay fresh until after the all star break.

  1. It looks like OP posted an AMP link. These should load faster, but AMP is controversial because of [concerns over privacy and the Open Web](https://www.reddit.com/r/AmputatorBot/comments/ehrq3z/why_did_i_build_amputatorbot).

Maybe check out **the canonical page** instead: **[https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/hockey/news/hurricanes-pyotr-kochetkov-sent-to-ahl/](https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/hockey/news/hurricanes-pyotr-kochetkov-sent-to-ahl/)**

  2. Holy heart attack title. Going to regain momentum before the next game makes sense though.

  3. Guessing this is because Raanta or Martin could be claimed off waivers and at this point we don’t want to chance that, which I understand. Still not nuts about the move but I get how navigating this goalie log jam is a bitch.

  4. This is basically a rehab assignment so no need to panic. Every team is sending their young guys that don’t have to be exposed to waivers to the AHL to get some extra reps during the bye

  5. Chicago plays a few times over the All Star break.  It would be good for Kochetkov to get a game or two before resuming Starter duties.

  6. Does Kochetkov remind anyone else of Patrick Roy (with less ego) back in the day? I’m newer to hockey so I don’t know goalie history as good as some of y’all do. But I started watching some videos of Patrick Roy because I found his antics hysterical and he gives me some similar vibes to Kochetkov. I wouldn’t put it past him to take the puck down the ice like Roy did lol.
