Joe Mazzulla on how the Celtics move on from this loss:

“Just have short-term memory. There’s nothing you can do to change it. Essentially, take it on the chin. We didn’t play well. They deserved to win. Get ready for Monday.”

  1. It’s the regular season, might mean literally nothing. Could only mean something if they lost the one seed by a game, but would that really even matter when the Bucks lose in the first round again?

  2. Not trying to get too deep here, but is there nothing to learn from this? No lesson or bad habits that are worth exploring and learning from? I guess it’s just time to blame Washburn, pop on The Town and hope they magically get better.

  3. I love how for this years Celtics everyone is like “if it ain’t broke don’t fix it” and then when it shows that it’s broke everyone is like “just ignore it”. We lack depth. Period.

  4. Fans should move on but the coaching staff should take this loss seriously. This is how physical teams will defend the Celtics. You review the film and find how you can create advantages against the defense, or slow down the other team’s offense. We will have at least one game without KP in the playoffs, and we don’t want that to be an automatic L.
