Fish man good.
The Millville Meat Eater
Born to fish, forced to be the best baseball player on the planet.
carp
What made him a legend in Millville
Fascinating that no name puns were made
Sure looks like a carp to me.
Not one pun? Not sure if I’m proud or disappointed of the author.
Wonder if he keeps in touch with those dudes?
For those who are not sure why a fishing article is posted on this subreddit is that Mike Trout’s last name is also a species of fish even though he did not catch a trout.
this is the most important news article of the off-season
how was he not accused of cannibalism?
How did they refrain from inserting a single fish name joke? If there’s anything I know about local journalists, it’s that they will shove as many puns into an article as they can. Kinda like us on this sub.
#TROUT
What percent of this subreddit could strikeout 11 year old Mike Trout?
Look, I love the fish man. However, that is a carp. And it is les than 10 pounds.
You can instantly tell which one is Mike trout lol that smile is iconic
Donnie Tomlin looks like he finished 9th in the 1987 Busch Series and was just on the cusp of making it
The main text says it was a carp, but the photo caption says it was a trout. Either way, the idea of a newspaper carrying reports on local fishing conditions makes sense, I suppose, but still feels bizarre to me.
Fish boy good.
The trout spoke to young Mike Trout, saying, “Spare me! You are destined for greatness in Major League Baseball, but if you don’t spare my life, you will never see postseason success” before his friends chucked it into the cooler.
Nice article. Unfortunately Marshall passed from cancer in 2013 (I was a family friend/from the area). Here is a nice article that actually references this fish. Trout is a really nice person.

That’s a carp
I wonder if [Mike Carp](https://www.fangraphs.com/players/mike-carp/7480/stats?position=1B/OF) caught an actual trout.
Only championship he’ll see.
