  5. Baerga is the type of dude to throw shit at the wall and see what sticks, Turner was my least favourite of the DH options, but at least he is one.

  8. Brutal if true. Fascinating how the response to losing Ohtani has been to not try a recoup any fan excitement in a season where they jack prices to levels where people will seriously think twice about going to a game. I guess we will see how that works out for them.

  9. Turner’s not my first choice, or even 2nd for remaining DH options, but if we land him and one of Bellinger or Chapman, then it’s a net win for us. Also Turner and Bellinger are former teammates and I believe friends, so landing Turner could be something that helps Belli choose Toronto over another team if the offers are comparable

  10. I don’t buy it, Baegra so crazy unreliable. If it is true, you could argue he’s better than Soler, but he’s also damn near 40.

  14. Please God no, Soler/JDM should be our targets at DH, especially considering there shouldn’t be much competition for them.  The only way this makes sense if it’s followed up by Bellinger. 

  16. Just says the rumour is he’s reached an agreement and between today and tomorrow he’ll have a contract.
