Coming back against Detroit. It’s good they’re giving him a short G League assignment to get back up to speed.
I feel like usually there is a window of time before someone returns where it’s like in a week or two, a few more games, he’s slowly practicing, etc.” The Cavs seem to be doing the “Surprise!! He’s coming back today actually!” route with Mobley and Garland lol
When JB said Garland was extremely close yesterday my thought was like next week or the week after at the earliest. I was expecting an announcement with Mobley in the past few days but not immediately “Oh he’s playing tonight, actually.” Even though last week they were saying his recovery was going quicker than expected, it still seemed like maybe one or two more weeks. Anyways I am pleased to be pleasantly surprised!
