All it will take is that first ring for Tatum to ascend to the face of the NBA. His stats are taking a dive due to how good we are so he won’t be a MVP candidate.
He has all the accolades this young in his career, he starts throwing in rings and you’re looking at another all-time great.

I noticed this some days ago, I’m a Celtics fan who lives in Brazil, and we have a morning show hosted by an old lady, Ana Maria Braga, she doesn’t talk about sports, it’s basically a cooking show and gossip about Brazilian celebrities, and she said out of the blue that her favorite athlete was Jason Tatum of the Celtics. It had such an impact that Tatum recorded a short video and sent her a signed jersey, obviously via NBA PR.

*I don’t think it’s right you’re getting downvoted. I think its a credible claim that the Celtics are the most hated team in the NBA. They have a been a successful franchise since the beginning of the association. Everybody thinks that they’re Celtics’ rival. (Almost?) every fanbase can remember losing a meaningful game to the Celtics at some point. I don’t know if there’s a fan base they can honestly say “winning against the Celtics doesn’t matter”.*
