I don’t give a shit about either team in the super bowl, and don’t like watching teams other than my own.
I’m not sure why this is so hard to fathom for some people.
I’ll be watching the fucken world aquatics championships or whatever else is on that day
All these non football fans are outing themselves saying that. Imagine not watching the biggest game of the season, no matter who is playing.
It’s not an airport, you don’t have to announce departures.
But I’ve always watched the superbowl, even for the decades the chiefs sucked.
There’s always someone to root for/against.
Mahomes always has spectacular plays in the playoffs. But if you’d rather see the highlight reels than watch it live, that’s on you.

If you think someone who hates both teams not watching the Superbowl isn’t a “real football fan” or whatever, you’re about as dumb as the people who think Taylor Swift is CIA psyop or whatever.

I’m still watching – I hate the 49ers with all my heart but it should be a good game. And the Chiefs are pretty much inevitable – cementing a dynasty as we see it – might as well appreciate it while it lasts. Being toxic about it and crying isn’t gonna do anything other than make people look like bitches.

To anyone who fucking hates this, I skipped last years garbage Superbowl and have no regrets. I don’t mind the niners so I’ll be watching, but don’t feel like you’ll regret life if you don’t watch. We’re gonna see both of these teams here another ten times between them in the next ten years anyway so what’s there to miss?

Ehhh older I get the less I like football as a whole and the more I like my team specifically. When you’re young you have not that much going on so you can watch all the games every week. Once you have a marriage, kids, job in the morning, school potentially, etc. it makes it more difficult to dedicate time to game that aren’t your team.
Once the Bills are knocked I don’t usually watch football in general, even the superbowl. Not a protest thing for me like all these people say, I just don’t care about football – I care about the Bills specifically. Idk maybe i’m in the minority.
