This is how I felt when Rasul Douglas picked off Kyler in Arizona a couple years ago
Me too, my friend…me too 😓✊
I sort of did too. It felt so real for a second there. I still think we could have beat the lions.
Always next year though!
Me too, but then I remembered we where in prevent D, and SF, like so many other teams, could pick it apart and walk down the field and win
This season truly was the most whiplash of emotions I’ve experienced as a fan
Went from “oh they might be the worst team in the league” to “playing with house money” to “Super Bowl appearance”
Me too Gutey. Me too
Once jones broke the big run and we failed to get a TD I knew it was an L. Me and my brother both said here comes a missed kick and a Jordan love INT and both happened to a tee lol sometimes you just know
At what point did Gutey think Joe Barry was going to make the stop we needed in crunch time? Must have been scouting on gamedays because he obviously hasn’t seen what the rest of us knew was going to happen.
Same Gutey, same
As a father of 2 younger boys 10&9. This is the 2nd season they’ve been invested in the Packers. They both cried after that San Fran game. All of me understands and felt that pain. But I told them, we WILL be a force to reckon with next season. Go Pack Go!!
Pain
I think all of Packers nation really felt the same. Beat the 49ers maybe beat the Lions again and SB. That would’ve been amazing
This right here is why I think Barry is gone. I think Gutey too got his hopes up and than Barry did Barry things and I think it was the last straw. I legit thought if we got a stop in the 4th with the lead on that last drive Barry was going to get a new contract.
That’s your interpretation and you’re entitled to it man. I believe based on what he said that he meant we still had a chance with 5 minutes to play. Don’t count your chickens before they hatch.
Joe Barry had a reservation in Cancun he couldn’t miss
He though Joe Barry would field a competent defense to close out a game??? LOL. I was 100% positive SF would score a TD and it was never in doubt. At 8 min left in the game I absolutely thought we were going to the superb owl.
Did he remember that he was still employing Joe Barry as DC… lol
I’ll be honest. I thought we were going to lose as soon as Carlson missed that FG. It just felt like a repeat of every MLF playoff loss.
I did too, and that’s right when I realized we had no chance. I said to my buddy who I was watching with. “We are going to lose this”
Which year…..
We all did. Just needed to make one more play.
Preface with I know this’ll be downvoted-Instead we got our hearts ripped out by the god damned stupid ass 49ers AGAIN. Would have rather been blown out for christs sake. That being said the future is bright.
Joe Barry was always gonna have lost us a crucial game. Idk, I’m glad it was div round instead of yet another NFCCG or worse, the Super Bowl. but maybe I’m just weird / alone in this opinion
Joe Barry made sure that didn’t happen.
What did he say with 2 minutes left vs Seattle?
I stopped doing this. Last time I thought that was 5 minutes left against Seattle….. spoiler, they did not go to the Super Bowl

He must have forgotten who was calling defense?
