If TJ wanted to win, he should have mimed dribbling a basketball instead of actually getting sacks.
I’m honestly so over this debate. I think TJ deserves it but it is what it is. He will be in the HoF whether or not he wins another DPOY in my mind, assuming he can string together a few more successful seasons. I have no doubt that will happen and question if he even needs to do that.
Watt knows what he means to the team and city. He got a record contract from us. Let’s just enjoy him and not care about accolades that are out of our control.

I think if Garrett does win, then we wouldn’t be in this situation with him again. The DPOY has already gone to TJ and it hasn’t gone to Myles. Right now the biggest argument against TJ is he has already been acknowledged as the best player on defense. That and his brother was the DPOY for like the first half of the last decade and the press doesn’t like perceived nepotism.
Myles got hurt by his poor showing the last few weeks. Us making playoffs was a huge boost to watts odds too.
