I wish I had context from DJ here because from my limited vantage point that doesn’t make any sense. The Manders have more cap space than any other team, and they have a bounty of 2024 draft picks from the Montez Sweat and Chase Young trades. If they hit on the QB with the 2nd pick and use their other resources wisely, Washington could turn their fortunes around pretty quickly.
