Colin Cowherd didn’t retract his statement about Caleb Williams not wanting to go to Chicago. He said that Caleb’s camp reached out and doesn’t want Caleb to be viewed as a “villain.” He said Caleb has “real concerns” about going to Chicago. YIKES 😬

  1. This guys show is dying and he wants clicks. If Chicago doesn’t take Williams cause of concerns there will 100% be a team trading up to take him.

  2. I mean Cowherd is like a famous liar who loves to turn players into villains

Never forget when he said that Sean Taylor was asking for it due to the lifestyle he lived. Fuck cowherd

  4. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I always felt he has always had solid takes when it came to USC news. So I believe there is something there with some truth when it comes from Cowherd and anything dealing with USC.

  5. That video was a tough watch. I couldn’t finish it. It just sounds like someone’s dad’s drunk friend talking about football. Also, as an aside, he was trying to make a point about graduating from top law schools and he’s groping to name top schools and places like Harvard and Yale don’t occur to him. Anyway…

It could be that the Williams team actually did put this PR feeler out there because they don’t like the Chicago situation. And maybe he does actually want to go to the next team, which happens to be in his home town. But there is zero chance they’re actually trying to Eli this situation. That will never happen again. And they know there’s nothing wrong with Chicago.

  6. I mean, a draft pick having concerns about where he’s gonna play seems perfectly valid.  It’s only his career on the line.

  7. As we know so well with the hype train and hope train, just because a player wants to go somewhere or doesn’t want to go somewhere doesn’t mean our GM and Head Coach wants him.

  8. This quite literally feels like the exact same schtick and reasoning he had back when Burrow was coming out and how he should deny Cincy because of their history and blah blah.

Seems like Cincy is going to be set up well with Burrow and people will forget just how inept they were right before this.

History is history, just takes one player to change it

  9. If Chicago for some reason (doubtful) doesn’t take him, there is very little chance he slips to 2. Someone is going to trade up to get him, potentially the Pats.

  10. Caleb Williams is going to Chicago. End of story. The pick is such a lock that the media is *dying* to talk about the what ifs just to get clicks/views.

  11. I wouldn’t want to go to Chicago either if I were him. I agree with the other comments though, someone will trade up to 1 most likely. I doubt he falls to 2..but what do I know. Season of smoke and mirrors
