[Breer] Jay Harbaugh going to the Seahawks as their Special Teams Coordinator

Crazy, maybe tryna make a name for himself.
I’d break up this family 100 times if it meant keeping Ficken
Assuming Jim offered him a job but not the coordinator position and maybe he wants to go off and make his name
He’d be silly not to take a coordinator job over what he was going to be here
I can understand about wanting to make your own name. Good luck to Jay.
Harbaugh chose Ficken over his son, you know he’s serious about winning
Ficken must really be good and made an impression if Jim was willing to let his son go take a job somewhere else for him
Makes complete sense with the crossover he and McDonald had at Michigan.
Hell yeah – keeping Ficken
Also good for Jay
Seems like an absolute win-win. We keep Ficken, Jay gets an opportunity to go off on his own and make a name for himself.
Glad we’re keeping Ficken!
It would’ve looked bad to not retain one of the best special teams coordinators in the league for his son. And other options (position coach) would’ve been lesser than this opportunity with the Seahawks. Everyone wins here.
Hopefully this doesn’t cause any resentment within the front office and him
surprised ti see Seattle since Carroll is still there.
“Hey Jaybone, Ficken deez nutz!” – Jim Harbaugh
All respect to jay, but watching that special teams unit in both playoff games made me want to throw up glad Ficken stayed
Or… Ownership didn’t allow Harbaugh to hire family. Because— well ya know.. js
