[OBF] Jakobi Meyers: Tells @FelgerAndMazz that he never felt “respect” when playing in Foxboro . It didn’t work because “they wouldn’t budge . . . it’s was his job to do what’s best for the team”. Says he and Patriots were $1 million apart. Adds “football caught up to” JuJu Smith

  1. Meyers was extremely upfront and honest with F&M today about his Patriots experience and departure, and his time with the Raiders last season. Worth a listen if anyone’s interested

  2. Good thing we left this locker room cancer in Vegas. How dare you even say anything wrong about the Lord Bill Belichick.

    /s for obvious reasons

  3. This sub defended that move to the death.

Was absolutely egregious from day one. Just Bill sacrificing the team over a pissing contest.

  4. This is like Ted Karras.

Great guy, leader, solid at his position, homegrown talent, kicked out the door over pennies. Just so they could spend a 1st on a guy who isn’t nearly as good.

  5. The Pats have had this kind of approach for a long time under Belichick. No one complained when it worked. It stopped working and it’s why the Pats had to move on.

  6. Only to spend much more than that on the corpse of Juju and special teamers than can’t play.

  7. Is it me, or is Jakobi throwing a bunch of his ex-coaches and teammates (including Josh) under the bus. Sure he’s being honest, but it’s not a good look.

  8. that close … and didnt he try to stick up for Jones?? spiteful Bill strikes again

  9. Hated this move from day one. And when his and jujus contract details came out it was even more infuriating.
