I agree. Red white and blue is boring and I hate that we are called the Wizards but try to remove all Wizard imagery
The teal(or whatever that shade of blue is called), white and some gold is a good combination. I especially liked the home whites of that era
Never liked the logo but I prefer those colors for the Wizards and Caps.
It seemed like no one liked this logo or these colors at the time. It’s nice to see some nostalgia for them.
Hard pass. I didn’t mind the colors, but that logo was terrible. We were the laughingstock of the league.
Also: I didn’t like that one side of the uniform had no stripes or trim. Just solid slate blue or white from the sleeve to the hem of the shorts. Meh.
The units took a step forward when they changed the trim from bronze to gold. But it was still not nearly as good as the championship unis or the new/current ones.
My favorites might be the stars and stripes (the original Adidas ones that said “Washington” and had double outlines numbers, as worn in the playoff run, not the Nike redux with the dc logo and unadorned numbers brought back a few years later). But I also loved the cherry blossoms as a one-off.
The throwbacks we had last year were nice
Who would be the face of this era (logo) Rip Hamilton? Arenas? Stackhouse? Jamison?
No thank you. Bring back the Bullets for the real nostalgia. This is for little kids
